Apple & Tiger Nut Butter Crunch Bites [Low Histamine, Gluten Free]

Tigernut Butter is a great low-histamine substitute for peanut butter or any nut butter. The taste is a mild peanut butter flavor that pairs perfectly with Honey and Apples. This tiger nut butter recipe makes a great quick and easy Low Histamine Snack or breakfast.

ALL ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS

Tiger Nut Butter – SIGHI 0

This nut butter substitute is made by simply blending Tiger Nut Flour with Olive Oil. The final result is a creamy spread with a taste reminiscent of peanut butter or almond butter. Click here For my Tiger Nut Butter recipe.

Rice Cakes – SIGHI 0

Any rice cakes will do as long as you check the ingredients to make sure everything is on the TLH YES list. I like these thinner rice cakes by Lundberg which include brown rice and salt.

Suggested Brand: Lundberg Thin Stackers

Apple – SIGHI 0

Apples are a great staple for people following a low histamine diet. There is so much that can be done with them from breakfast to dinners and everything in between. Use whichever apple is your favorite in each dish and if you want some help picking, check out this hilarious Apple Ranking website.

Honey – SIGHI 0

When choosing a honey, choose raw honey. Raw honey is unfiltered and unheated, and boasts potential health benefits over regular honey due to its retained pollen, enzymes, and antioxidants.
